The University of Ottawa's Faculty of Engineering stands at the forefront of engineering and computer science education, offering students exceptional degree programs and hands-on learning opportunities that equip them to address society's evolving challenges.
Founded in 2006, the Ottawa-Carleton Institute of Biomedical Engineering (OCIBME) brings together the educational and research capabilities of multiple departments from both the University of Ottawa and Carleton University.
The Institute leverages the knowledge of distinguished medical researchers and renowned research facilities at the University of Ottawa, such as the Heart Institute and Eye Institute. Beyond the core participating departments, several other academic units contribute to the program through faculty research projects or by offering elective graduate courses available to enrolled students.
Hold a master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related discipline with a minimum average of 75% (B+).
