For those seeking a program combining studio instruction and ensemble performance, consider applying to the Bachelor of Music degree.
All first-year Bachelor of Music students take foundational courses in Music Theory, Music History, and Music Skills (covering Sight-singing, Ear-training, and Keyboard Harmony), along with a half-course in either music composition, teaching & learning, or popular music & culture. Students also choose one half-course music or non-music elective and another half-course elective outside the Don Wright Faculty of Music. Additionally, Bachelor of Music students benefit from weekly hour-long private lessons, masterclasses, and ensemble participation.
