This Special Education Master's (MSED) is available as either a part-time online degree or full-time on-campus program, offering working teachers the flexibility to earn their graduate education while maintaining their careers. VIU's Special Education Master's emphasizes hands-on learning, allowing participants to tailor their studies and forge valuable relationships within their local school communities.
The full-time campus option follows a cohort structure, with core coursework spanning two semesters. Field research and capstone projects occur during the second year across two terms, with online support available. Students have the option to accelerate completion by up to one semester.
