Our department provides extensive graduate programs in Chemistry and Biochemistry.
Faculty members lead dynamic research initiatives spanning diverse disciplines such as inorganic and organic synthesis, materials science, surface chemistry, solid-state chemistry, and medical biochemistry.
Students must satisfactorily complete a minimum of three courses selected from graduate offerings in their specialization or approved related fields, as determined by the Program Committee.
Additional coursework may be required at the discretion of the student's Master's advisory committee.
The Master's committee selection follows the procedures outlined in the Master's Program Requirements. The culminating assessment involves a public seminar presentation before the committee, open to all interested attendees.
In accordance with our current admission requirements for the MSc program, students entering this program must have a four (4) year BSc or BSc (Honours) degree in Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, or accepted equivalent from an academic institution approved by the University of Windsor.
They must have the equivalent of a 70% average or higher in their undergraduate studies when converted to Ontario standards.
Minimum TOEFL: IBT-83; Minimum IELTS: 6.5; Minimum Pearson: 65.
Deadline for Fall: July 1; Winter: November 1; Summer: March 1.
