Welcome to the Centre for Computer Vision and Deep Learning (CCVDL), previously called the Computer Vision and Sensing Systems Laboratory, within the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Established in 2006, CCVDL operates as a dedicated research hub focusing on computer vision, deep learning, wireless sensor networks, and sensor data fusion. Our team investigates both theoretical foundations and practical applications for enhanced data analysis across these disciplines.

Originally created as a specialized research group, CCVDL coordinates cutting-edge studies in artificial intelligence, sensor technologies, image processing, computer vision, and machine learning. We actively foster partnerships with industry collaborators and government research organizations. This site provides an overview of our current projects, academic offerings, and available opportunities.

Windsor's distinctive collaborative environment connects academia with business and industry, providing access to advanced engineering resources and exceptional career prospects. Whether you're a high school student exploring engineering, a prospective graduate student considering master's or PhD programs, or an industry representative seeking research solutions, the Faculty of Engineering stands ready to support your goals.

Our engineering programs cultivate professional expertise, equipping students to address society's technical challenges and global environmental concerns.
