Welcome to the Centre for Computer Vision and Deep Learning (CCVDL), previously called the Computer Vision and Sensing Systems Laboratory, within the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Established in 2006, CCVDL is a dedicated research unit focused on advancing knowledge in computer vision, deep learning, wireless sensor networks, and sensor data fusion. Our team investigates both theoretical foundations and practical applications for enhanced data analysis across these domains.
Originally created as a specialized research group, CCVDL coordinates cutting-edge studies in artificial intelligence, sensor technologies, image processing, computer vision, and machine learning. We actively foster partnerships with industry collaborators and government research organizations. This site provides an overview of our current research projects, academic offerings, and available opportunities.

Qualification Requirements
Graduates of recognized universities may apply for admission. In general, admission to graduate study is granted only to those students who have good academic records and who are adequately prepared to undertake graduate work in their field of specialization. In particular, an applicant for admission to a graduate program leading to the degree of Doctor of Philosophy must have either a Master's degree or, in exceptional cases, a four-year Bachelor's degree, or the equivalent; with a minimum average of 77% (or equivalent). Possession of the minimum requirements does not ensure admission. Transcripts, IBT-83 Minimum IELTS: 6.5.
