A chemistry education opens doors to diverse careers ranging from laboratory work to legal fields. This adaptable curriculum focuses on exploring the nature of matter, energy, and their interactions in our environment. You'll have opportunities to collaborate with our distinguished faculty on research projects, discover creative applications for your analytical abilities, and gain practical professional experience through our cooperative internship program.
Think of this science program as a sampling platter — you can explore various disciplines before selecting your primary focus. Perfect for students who wish to investigate multiple fields or remain undecided about their specialization, the program requires concentration in three or four fundamental science areas (including biology, chemistry, biochemistry, computer science, environmental science, mathematics, physics, or economics), then narrowing down to two. Many participants transition to specialized four-year honors programs after their first or second year, while others appreciate the option to complete a streamlined three-year degree.
