This 16-month program includes two terms of coursework, a third term dedicated to a Major Research Paper (MRP) on a student-selected global governance topic, and a fourth term featuring an internship with public/private organizations, research institutes, or NGOs focused on global governance issues. Exchange programs are also available. Today's world confronts multifaceted global challenges like peacekeeping, humanitarian emergencies, economic disparities, and environmental transformations.
The Environment and Resources research group tackles governance issues stemming from widespread ecological damage and resource scarcity. It brings together researchers and students examining environmental governance through interdisciplinary approaches, covering topics such as climate policy, energy shifts, water shortages, and biodiversity loss. The cluster fosters joint research to explore equity concerns, ethical dilemmas, and coordination challenges in governance solutions while aiming to improve policy decisions. Additionally, it supports practical projects that inform ongoing debates within international institutions.
