The Master of Architecture is a two-year graduate program designed for students with pre-professional architecture backgrounds. Applicants should have completed most courses needed for professional accreditation. Those holding a Bachelor of Architectural Studies (BAS) from the University of Waterloo or an equivalent degree can finish the program in as few as three terms, with a maximum of six terms allowed. Other admitted students with pre-professional architecture degrees must complete two transitional terms before their thesis year, with all degree requirements to be finished within six academic terms maximum.
