This program integrates psychological theories and research into learning and instructional methods. You'll implement evidence-based approaches and develop skills to address diverse educational requirements. Select from our specialized tracks: learning, development and instructional sciences, or special education.
The MA program requires a thesis, while we also provide a project-based MEd option.
Educational psychology encompasses a broad spectrum of study, including inclusion practices, special education, learning sciences, human development, and research methodology. Our thesis-focused master's programs provide seamless transition into our PhD in educational psychology.
Both the MEd and MA typically require two years of full-time, on-campus study when following the recommended course sequence. Deviations from this plan may lengthen the program duration. To complete the MA within two years, students must establish a thesis focus and assemble their committee within the initial six months. Thesis complexity and research design may necessitate an extra 1-2 semesters.
