The social group offers both (1) a practical and (2) a research-focused program.
The Masters in Applied Psychological Science (MAPS) caters to both student aspirations and industry demands. Participants will develop essential competencies to formulate relevant inquiries and perform studies in professional environments like corporations, public institutions, and healthcare organizations. Graduates will be prepared for immediate career opportunities or advanced doctoral studies. Visit the MAPS section for comprehensive information about this collaborative program.
The research-oriented social psychology curriculum focuses on specialized training in health psychology, legal psychology, social cognition, attitude formation, rational social behavior, and program assessment. The program prioritizes rigorous research methodology, experimental design, and statistical analysis. Students acquire expertise by undertaking scientific investigations that culminate in a thesis. Potential research areas encompass health-related social factors, cognitive processes in social contexts, attitude formation, judgment patterns, group influence, and legal behavior studies. Graduates receive a Master of Science degree, equipping them for advanced academic pursuits (such as PhD programs) or research positions across corporate, government, and educational sectors.
