The curriculum centers on cultivating research and practical competencies in clinical and counseling psychology, while exploring their interconnected nature. Our educational approach fosters critical thinking and self-aware practitioners. The MA CCP Program primarily serves students aiming for careers as researchers or professionals in diverse clinical and counseling environments.
The Clinical & Counselling Psychology (CCP) specialization adopts a biopsychosocial framework, prioritizing diversity while concentrating on adult psychopathology assessment and intervention. This program qualifies graduates for registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario (CPO) as Psychological Associates. It also meets the prerequisites for those pursuing doctoral studies in the Clinical and Counselling Psychology field. The training follows a progressive structure, with the MA and PhD programs forming an integrated educational pathway.
