The Educational Leadership & Policy (ELP) program focuses on examining and advancing policies, leadership approaches, transformation initiatives, and social diversity in K-12 schools and other youth educational environments. By blending theoretical frameworks with practical applications, students gain the tools to address today's intricate issues in educational governance, administration, and systemic improvement. The ELP curriculum cultivates visionary education leaders, skilled policy experts, and innovative researchers who drive meaningful progress across school systems, district offices, government education departments, philanthropic organizations, NGOs, and global institutions. Participants can either survey the discipline comprehensively or specialize in one of four key concentrations: Policy Studies, Leadership Development, Organizational Change, or Social Diversity. The program offers four degree pathways: MEd, MA, EdD, and PhD. The PhD in Educational Leadership and Policy emphasizes rigorous academic research, ideal for scholars dedicated to investigating governance, administration, reform movements, and equity issues in childhood and adolescent learning environments. This research-intensive program equips candidates to analyze contemporary challenges in educational systems through both scholarly inquiry and applied practice.
