The Music Faculty provides two undergraduate programs: the Bachelor of Music (Mus.Bac.) and the Bachelor of Music in Performance (Mus.Bac.Perf.). Performance degree students start their specialization immediately in first year, while regular Bachelor of Music students (except those in Music Education - Classical & Jazz, Composition, and Comprehensive-Jazz) complete a Common Year first. During this foundational year, they fulfill core requirements while exploring potential specializations in History & Theory or Comprehensive studies. Those aiming for Music Education (Classical) or Composition may optionally begin their concentrations in Year 2 after the Common Year. All students must complete fundamental music courses covering history, theory, and performance - creating a shared academic foundation for all music students.
