The Master of Indigenous Land-Based Education (M.I.L.B.E.) stands as a pioneering degree program in its field. Combining academic study with hands-on experience, you'll explore Indigenous worldviews and knowledge systems connected to the land. You'll apply and share analytical skills while creating land-based teaching approaches through individual, experiential, and group work.

This intensive 30-credit program blends digital coursework with immersive on-the-land learning experiences facilitated by Indigenous communities, concluding with a community-focused final project. The flexible format supports students who cannot relocate for traditional campus studies due to professional or personal responsibilities. Designed for maximum engagement, the program prioritizes direct interaction with instructors, Indigenous communities, and the natural environment.
