The University of Saskatchewan (USask) provides a welcoming and encouraging atmosphere for students pursuing an M.A. in philosophy. With intimate seminar settings and direct faculty interaction, the program focuses on key philosophical disciplines where professors specialize. The department excels in metaphysics, epistemology, philosophy of science, mind studies, moral psychology, historical philosophy (18th-19th century), ethics, meta-ethics, political philosophy, language theory, mathematical philosophy, and aesthetics.
