The Department of Languages, Literatures, and Cultural Studies offers graduate programs leading to a master's degree (available as either project or thesis options) in French literature, translation studies, or linguistic studies. Key research specialties encompass literary theory and criticism, French literature from the 17th to 20th centuries, Québécois and Francophone literary works, feminist literature and gender studies, cinematic arts from France, Québec, and North Africa, along with translation and language research.
Our curriculum addresses diverse subjects relevant to students from Canada, the U.S., and worldwide, concentrating on academic fields actively investigated by French department faculty at the University of Saskatchewan.

A completed on-line application, the application fee and all supporting application documents
