The Toxicology Centre oversees and directs research and postgraduate education in toxicology, with significant involvement from the University's Toxicology Group members. This interdisciplinary group, operating under the College of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies, includes faculty from multiple university departments along with researchers from nearby government institutions. Many Toxicology Group faculty members are qualified to mentor potential graduate students.
This cross-disciplinary approach offers students a wide range of toxicology research possibilities. Applicants with undergraduate degrees in diverse fields like agriculture, biology, chemistry, ecology, environmental sciences, medicine, physiology, pharmacology, toxicology, or veterinary medicine are encouraged to apply to the program.
