Resource Science equips students with vital applied science competencies and natural resource management expertise that can drive sustainable initiatives like restoring degraded lands or minimizing landscape-based greenhouse gas outputs.
This Resource Science concentration offers immersive, real-world training in field data collection and evaluation. The curriculum covers:
site environmental analysis and soil-terrain correlations
practical comprehension of spatial connections between ecological zones and soil types
restoration and rehabilitation techniques
field data processing and synthesis
implementing ecological land classification systems
