An Environmental Studies major examines the societal aspects of environmental challenges and explores potential solutions. Our curriculum equivocally equips you with both the theoretical understanding and practical skills to address ecological issues. We've organized our courses into three distinct tracks to provide targeted expertise for creating impact. Beginning with foundational courses that establish expertise in environmental science and socioeconomic factors, you'll progress to skill-building modules, culminating in capstone experiences rich with hands-on learning through case analyses, collaborative projects, and independent research.
Our program uniquely prioritizes developing cross-disciplinary problem-solving capabilities essential for environmental governance. While covering standard environmental studies fundamentals, we emphasize creating connections across intersecting disciplines.
Recognized by ECO Canada, our program stands out for its extensive laboratory components and abundant experiential learning options for students.
