This five-year program is open to students enrolled in either the B.Sc. Four-year or Honours programs. Admission criteria for Hydrology majors:
Applicants need a minimum Cumulative Weighted Average of 70% (or departmental approval) and must have completed between 54 and 84 credit units of coursework.
Hydrology examines water security challenges through both physical and social science lenses.
The curriculum explores human impacts on surface environments, covering water resource management, environmental contaminant behavior, and waste disposal effects on natural and developed ecosystems. Students will master geospatial technologies (remote sensing, GIS, mapping) and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) methodologies.
