Engineering professionals are innovative thinkers who tackle challenges. They apply scientific principles, technological tools, and mathematical concepts to address issues both locally and worldwide. Whether your passions lie in business ventures, creative fields, social causes, or tech advancements, engineering offers opportunities for you.
The University of Saskatchewan has transformed its first-year engineering program to enhance student achievement and enjoyment. This innovative approach, called RE-ENGINEERED, stands unique in Canada. It's designed to spark enthusiasm and motivation for engineering studies.
The RE-ENGINEERED program replaces stressful final exams with continuous assessments and quizzes, allowing for grade improvement throughout the term. Scheduled daily support sessions ensure timely assistance. Rather than traditional exams, students engage in practical courses exploring various engineering fields.
Students select their engineering specialization (major or discipline) after completing first year, which becomes their focus for advanced studies in subsequent years
