This 30-credit (10-course) certificate program is provided by the Faculty of Arts. It provides an introduction to legal studies and examines law's influence on society. Participants will examine diverse disciplinary viewpoints and methodologies for studying law. The program attracts individuals interested in understanding law's societal role and its effects on people's lives, particularly those considering law school applications or legal careers. When permitted by the Faculty, it may also be completed as a minor alongside a degree program.
Students must have completed High School (Secondary School) or partial post-secondary.

IELTS – Academic: Overall Band score of 6.5, with no band less than 6.0

MELAB (Michigan English Language Assessment Battery): 85
