The Department of Cellular and Molecular Medicine, situated within the Faculty of Medicine, provides graduate studies culminating in Master of Science (MSc) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees in Neuroscience.
These programs foster both theoretical understanding and analytical skills by engaging students in scientific literature review, laboratory experimentation, data interpretation, and research presentations through seminars or posters. They equip graduates for diverse careers in education and research, both in academic and non-academic settings.

Qualification Requirements

To be eligible, candidates must: Have an honours bachelor’s degree with a minimum admission average of B+ (75%). Identify at least one professor who is willing to supervise your research and thesis. We recommend that you contact potential thesis supervisors as soon as possible. To register, you need to have been accepted by a thesis supervisor. The supervisor’s name is required at the time of application.
