The MSC.MCB program provides five specialization options: 1) biochemistry; 2) cell biology; 3) microbiology; 4) molecular biology and genetics; and 5) plant biology. Students can also pursue interdisciplinary concentrations in Neuroscience or Toxicology.
This program aims to equip graduate students with advanced knowledge and practical skills in modern molecular and cellular biology, covering experimental methods, literature research, and effective communication. Graduates will develop the expertise required to conduct rigorous scientific investigations and qualify for roles with varying responsibilities across academic settings (as educators or lab technicians), biotechnology sectors (including food production, pharmaceuticals, biomedicine, and agriculture), or government research facilities. The program also serves as excellent preparation for doctoral studies or for transitioning into professional degrees (like law, medicine, or business) or educator certification programs.
