The MHA program maintains strong partnerships with faculties like Health Sciences and Medicine to ensure its curriculum remains clinically relevant for healthcare administration professionals.
It also fosters connections with hospitals, long-term care facilities, community health organizations, mental health institutions, government agencies at all levels, and international health bodies to guarantee program quality and real-world applicability.
Additionally, the program collaborates closely with professional associations including the Canadian and American Colleges of Health Service Executives, emphasizing forward-thinking leadership with a human-centered approach during this era of global healthcare transformation.
The MHA program equips students with the skills needed to tackle management and leadership challenges in today's evolving healthcare landscape.
Designed for working professionals, this 24-month program involves 9 units per semester, with all instruction delivered in English. Students must complete either a 16-week administrative residency or a 200-hour consulting project, providing hands-on experience in healthcare or health policy while demonstrating how academic concepts apply to real-world management situations. These practical components can be completed in English or French at approved healthcare organizations.
