This business-focused program builds upon students' healthcare education by teaching core business and leadership principles. It prepares learners to operate effectively within Canada's healthcare framework, exploring diverse business subjects from a healthcare perspective.
You'll gain expertise in financial management, HR practices, operational strategies, leadership development, research methodologies, and analytical thinking. The program also addresses critical topics like privacy regulations, ethical considerations, communication techniques, and patient care standards specific to Canada's healthcare environment.
Structured as a four-semester course, the Health Care Management program welcomes international graduates from healthcare or other academic disciplines. The initial semester introduces Canada's healthcare framework, including service providers and regulatory agencies, detailing the roles of provincial and federal governing entities.
Students subsequently apply their health sciences background to deepen their understanding of healthcare administration, analytical reporting, legal/ethical challenges, data systems, research methodologies, and workplace dynamics.

A Two- or Three-Year College Diploma, or a Degree, preferably in Health Sciences. Other backgrounds will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) test with a minimum score of 88 for the Internet-based test (iBT), with test results within the last two years
International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Academic test with an overall score of 6.5 with no score less than 6.0 in any of the four bands, with test results within the last two years.
