The School of Music provides Master of Music (MMus) and Master of Arts (MA) degrees in Music, with two distinct pathways: performance and music research.

Performance programs cover piano, collaborative piano, conducting, vocal studies, orchestral instruments, and guitar.

At the master's level (MA exclusively), the School collaborates with Feminist and Gender Studies as well as Medieval and Renaissance Studies programs.

Additionally, the School awards graduate diplomas in both piano pedagogy research and orchestral studies.

During the initial year, the summer session (May through August) is designated as an official academic break by the University. Full-time coursework must recommence in September.
