The School of International Development and Global Studies (SIDGS) provides multidisciplinary graduate programs, including a Master of Arts (MA) in International Development and Globalization and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in International Development.

SIDGS delivers a comprehensive MA program that introduces students to diverse perspectives on development theory, policy, and implementation, while allowing focus areas in one of four concentrations: Conflict, Transitions and Peace; Growth, Private Sector and Social Inclusion; Livelihoods, Resources and Sustainability; and Social Movements, Equity and Human Rights. Participants gain practical experience through Co-op placements and global internships, along with opportunities to connect with development policymakers and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) in the national capital region.

Core program courses are available annually in both English and French. Elective courses may be taught in either language; students should confirm the language of instruction with the respective academic department.
