Biomedical Science is a multidisciplinary field that explores the core principles of human and animal anatomy and physiology. The initial phase of study covers essential topics in anatomy, psychology, and foundational sciences including biology, biochemistry, chemistry, and mathematics. Following this, students can specialize by pairing advanced biology and biochemistry courses with various electives to pursue a minor in arts or social sciences. Alternatively, they may opt for life science concentrations like neuroscience, cellular/molecular medicine, bioanalytical science, biostatistics, or medicinal chemistry. From the third year onward, the Research Focus option provides hands-on research opportunities for those interested in scientific careers. Graduates emerge ready for advanced research training or entry into healthcare professional programs.
