Biomedical Science is a multidisciplinary field that explores the core principles of human and animal anatomy and physiology. The initial phase of study covers anatomical and psychological foundations alongside intensive coursework in fundamental sciences including biology, biochemistry, chemistry, and mathematics. Following this foundation, students can either specialize in life sciences with concentrations like neuroscience, cellular/molecular medicine, bioanalytical science, biostatistics, or medicinal chemistry, or complement their science education with arts or social sciences minors. From the third year onward, the Research Focus option provides hands-on research opportunities for those pursuing academic or scientific careers. Graduates emerge ready for advanced research studies or entry into various healthcare professional programs.
