Biomedical Science is a multidisciplinary field that explores the core principles of human and animal anatomy and physiology. The initial phase of study covers essential topics in anatomy, psychology, and foundational sciences including biology, biochemistry, chemistry, and mathematics. Following this foundation, students can specialize by pairing advanced biology and biochemistry courses with various electives to pursue a minor in arts or social sciences. Alternatively, they may opt for life science concentrations like neuroscience, cellular/molecular medicine, bioanalytical science, biostatistics, or medicinal chemistry. The program also features a Research Focus track in the third year, providing hands-on research opportunities for aspiring researchers. Graduates leave equipped for advanced research training or entry into professional healthcare programs.
