The MEng program is designed for students seeking advanced study in various geomatics engineering disciplines, incorporating cutting-edge geospatial technologies and diverse application areas (including Remote Sensing and Computer Vision, Spatial Data Sciences, Geodesy and Positioning, and Hydrospatial Engineering). This course-based master's requires completing 30 credit hours of coursework, chosen in coordination with the Director of Graduate Studies.
Intake begins in September. The application period runs from November 1 to February 1, with a deadline of February 1.
Through the Engineering Co-op Program, you can enhance your professional development and acquire valuable transferable skills, boosting your competitiveness in the job market. The co-op experience enables you to put classroom theories into practice within a professional setting. While students should check with their department and co-op office regarding eligible program durations under current guidelines, any relevant work experience proves advantageous for post-graduation employment prospects.
Typical program length: 16-24 months
Academic requirements: 30 credit hours, with a minimum of 15 credits at the 6000 level
Additional options: Co-op placement available
MEng applicants should hold an undergraduate degree in a related field geology, physics, math, engineering, and science from an accredited University.
All applicants should have a minimum 3.0 (or B Average, 70%)
International applicants whose first language is not English must submit language scores that meet or exceed international English language testing system (IELTS) band 7 and/or a TOEFL score of 92.
