The Geodesy and Geomatics Engineering (GGE) graduate program at UNB integrates geodesy with geomatics studies, providing students with comprehensive expertise in this discipline. Our curriculum takes an interdisciplinary, hands-on approach, connecting these fields to areas like geology, physics, civil engineering, oceanography, and legal studies.
As a world-renowned department, we give students opportunities to work with cutting-edge geodetic technology and collaborate with affiliated research centers. Over 500 alumni across the world have earned advanced degrees from GGE, pursuing careers as academics, researchers, and industry leaders at prestigious institutions globally. Our alumni apply their specialized knowledge in diverse sectors including environmental assessment, land/ocean resource governance, and property dealings.
