In essence, statistics is the discipline of deriving insights from data. As enormous quantities of information are continuously collected across all sectors of society, statistical methods become essential for interpreting this data. What makes statistics remarkable is its versatility - it integrates seamlessly with diverse fields including science, medicine, computer science, athletics, finance, and engineering. With increasing recognition of statistics' value, the need for skilled statisticians and statistical knowledge keeps expanding.

Students can pursue statistics as either a major or minor within both Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degrees. Our statistics elective courses are designed to enhance and support any chosen major or minor program.
