Canada's pioneering Immunology Department, established in 1969, has concentrated since the 1990s on developing a diverse Immunology program that integrates fundamental and clinical research across various immunological specialties. Globally acknowledged for groundbreaking studies in core immunology, cross-disciplinary projects, applied immunology, and industry partnerships, the department provides exceptional career growth potential through its core and affiliated faculty, robust graduate and postdoctoral training, and close ties with immunological research networks. The thesis-driven M.Sc. program blends academic coursework with practical research experience.
Program Length - 2 years.
The following are minimum requirements to be considered for entry into the Immunology (MSc) program.
To be considered for admission into the Immunology MSc program, you must:
Have a four-year bachelor's degree in biological or biomedical science
Achieve a minimum GPA of 3.0 over a 4.5 scale in the last two full years of study
Relevant laboratory research experience is preferred, but not required
The Department of Immunology requires a minimum TOEFL score of 88 (internet based), with a minimum of 20 points from each section of the test.
In addition to the above admission requirements, all applicants must meet the minimum admission and English language proficiency requirements set by the Faculty of Graduate Studies.

IAEP (Intensive Academic English Program) - Pass Level 5/AEPUCE (Academic English Program for University and College Entrance) with a minimum of 65% overall
IELTS (Academic module) (International English Language Testing System) - 6.5 overall
Internet-based TOEFL - Overall score of 86 (Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking - 20)
Pearson Test of English Academic - 61 overall
Cambridge Assessment of English at the C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency level - Minimum score of 180
