Explore a Bachelor of Arts in Political Studies, covering topics such as civil rights, fair resource allocation, and how people and organizations both compete and collaborate to reach their objectives. This program analyzes the relationships between citizens, the state, governance, public matters, and policy-making, especially in the pursuit of political influence.
Political Studies investigates the complexities of human relationships where individuals and organizations vie for power while also working together, shaped by differing perspectives, principles, and priorities. It fundamentally explores authority, especially concerning legal systems and governmental policies. Since people frequently hold opposing views on issues like individual freedoms, environmental sustainability, and equitable resource distribution, they organize into diverse collectives: countries, political factions, labor unions, industry groups, conservation movements, among others. Political studies seeks to comprehend the outcomes when various entities clash or unite to advance their distinct aims. Governments exist within nations to regulate these political conflicts, and studying this field enhances our understanding of why different governing systems operate as they do.
