The MBS is a one-year graduate program focused on coursework, culminating in a significant research project guided by a Faculty Advisor. Created as a shorter alternative to the MSc program, the MBS doesn't require a comprehensive written thesis. Many students choose this path when they're uncertain about pursuing a thesis-based degree or when seeking to enhance their qualifications for professional programs. Those who discover a passion for academic research during their MBS studies can transition into the MSc program before their third semester to pursue a thesis-based degree.
