The MA program focuses on key areas including Atlantic studies, criminal history, cultural and entertainment studies, family and youth dynamics, gender and sexuality studies, health and nutrition history, imperial studies, indigenous heritage, military history, political and international relations, religious history, rural and urban development, environmental science history, and tourism studies. Typically, admitted MA students receive partial funding to help offset (though not fully cover) their degree expenses across a maximum of five enrolled semesters:
