The Philosophy Department comprises 15 faculty members specializing in diverse research fields, supported by a vibrant community of 45 graduate students pursuing Master's and Doctoral degrees. Our areas of expertise cover historical philosophy, feminist theory, ethics, social and political philosophy, philosophy of mind and language, epistemology, metaphysics, and philosophy of science. We provide two Master's degree pathways: a one-year program combining coursework with a significant research project, or a two-year thesis-based option. Our four-year PhD program involves coursework, qualifying examinations, and the development and defense of an original research dissertation.
