The School of Environmental Sciences (SES) provides diverse graduate programs designed for recent graduates, professionals, and research-oriented individuals. Our faculty specializes in multiple fields such as beekeeping, atmospheric and geological studies, ecosystem science, insect research, microbial environmental studies, plant disease management, soil analysis, and environmental chemical impacts. Students can choose between two Master's pathways or pursue a Doctoral degree. The Master of Environmental Sciences (MES) program offers either coursework alone or coursework combined with a significant research project (typically finished in three terms). Alternatively, the Master of Science (MSc) involves three courses plus a thesis defense, spanning six terms. Our PhD curriculum mandates one course, a qualifying examination, and the development and defense of an original research dissertation, generally completed within twelve terms.
