The School of Computer Science (SoCS) provides an Interdisciplinary PhD in Computational Sciences. This program aims to develop versatile researchers who can address modern challenges across scientific and humanities disciplines by leveraging cutting-edge computing methods.
The Computational Sciences PhD is a rigorous four-year, full-time curriculum where candidates undertake the Technical and Communication Research Methodology course along with any supplementary coursework determined by their Advisory Committee.
Participants must deliver two public presentations, pass a comprehensive qualifying examination, conduct original research, and ultimately defend their dissertation in a final oral evaluation. The program additionally features an optional collaborative specialization in One Health.
