The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program delivers comprehensive education in nursing practice, health sciences, social sciences, and research methodologies, while allowing students to specialize in diverse fields. This curriculum holds accreditation from the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia, enabling graduates to qualify for the NCLEX licensing examination. B.C. secondary school graduation or equivalent with: Completion of each of the following courses with a minimum grade of C+ within five years prior to enrolment: Anatomy and Physiology 12, Biology 12 (BIO 093), or BIO 111 Chemistry 11 (CHEM 083), CHEM 110, or CHEM 113 One of the following with a minimum grade of C+: Principles of Mathematics 11, Foundations of Mathematics 11, Pre-calculus 11, or MATH 085. English Studies 12 or English First Peoples 12 (UFV ENGL 091 or ENGL 099; see Note) with a minimum grade of B, or ENGL 105 with a minimum grade of C. English Studies 12 or English First Peoples 12. Students may also present English 12, English Literature 12, English 12 First Peoples; all with a minimum C+ grade, International Baccalaureate English A (standard level or higher level), Advanced Placement English, or equivalent. TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) — IBT score of 88 with no section below 20, or paper-based score of 570 with a TWE (essay) score of 4.5 or higher. IELTS (International English Language Testing System) Academic format — score of at least 6.5., with no band score less than 6.0. MELAB (Michigan English Language Assessment Battery) — score of at least 85. CAEL (Canadian Academic English Language) — score of at least 70.
