The Practical Nursing (S121) program equips students with essential knowledge and competencies for a career in practical nursing. This two-year diploma aligns with the updated entry-to-practice standards from the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) and complies with Ministry of Colleges and Universities guidelines.

Instruction and laboratory sessions take place at the Daphne Cockwell Centre for Health Sciences on our Waterfront Campus, scheduled from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday. Clinical rotations, supervised by faculty, occur in diverse healthcare environments throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Participants may engage in placements featuring extended hours, including evenings and weekends.

Qualification Requirements

Applicants are selected on the basis of their academic achievement, including the required courses, and any other selection criteria outlined below. Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent grade 12 English (C or U) IELTS - 6.0, minimum 5.5 in each skill band. TOEFL iBT - 80 (online) minimum 20 in each skill band.
