The Media and Technology Studies Education program stands out as one of the most innovative and distinguished offerings worldwide. Students can choose from five rigorous degree options: BEd, Dip, MEd, MA, and PhD. Our program emphasizes both the creation and application of media and technology, along with their critical analysis and adaptation.

At the graduate level (MEd, MA, PhD), MTSE centers on education, scholarship, and instruction involving media and technology. This encompasses digital and physical system development, their economic contexts, historical roots, theoretical foundations, and cognitive aspects. The program also explores the significance of how technological creations are developed, utilized, interpreted, and repurposed. MTSE's academic focus broadly examines the relationships between media, technology, society, the environment, and individuals. Key areas of specialization include instructional media, technological innovation, media analysis, design & technology, sustainable design, human-computer interaction, information systems, STEM education, and science and technology studies.
