The Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences provides advanced degree programs for both Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy candidates. Qualification Requirements

The Faculty's minimum admission requirements are an undergraduate degree with an admission GPA of at least 3.0 on the 4-point scale from the University of Alberta, or an equivalent qualification and standing from a recognized institution. The admission GPA will be calculated on the last 60 units of graded coursework completed, or on the equivalent of the last two years of full-time graded coursework.
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), the minimum acceptable score is 550 (paper-based test) or 213 (computer-based test) or a total score of 88 with a score of at least 20 on each of the individual skill areas (Internet-based)
Michigan English Language Assessment Battery (MELAB), the minimum acceptable score of 85
International English Language Testing Systems (IELTS), a minimum overall band score of 6.5, with at least five on each test band
