The Integrated Petroleum Geosciences (IPG) initiative offers specialized education in geological and geophysical studies tailored for aspiring oil and gas professionals. This collaborative effort between the Earth and Atmospheric Sciences and Physics Departments delivers intensive, interdisciplinary instruction mirroring real-world energy sector practices. Over twelve months of full-time study, participants engage with core curriculum covering geological principles, geophysical methods, petrophysical analysis, and petroleum engineering fundamentals, supplemented by elective graduate-level coursework. Prospective students should possess an accredited bachelor's degree in Earth Sciences or related disciplines (including Geology or Geophysics) or demonstrate equivalent qualifications.
