We strive to cultivate in students a distinctive blend of hands-on and analytical abilities, along with a bold, forward-thinking mindset. Our students are encouraged to explore the essence of theatre—its structure and meaning. We aim to push students to think autonomously, nurturing their natural creativity, problem-solving skills, and originality.

Leadership is a core principle. Our graduates take on pivotal leadership positions within production teams, shaping departmental performances, and emerge fully equipped to step into leadership roles in their careers.

Our department centers live performance as the meeting point for all theatrical disciplines; every graduate student engages in this dynamic environment of research and artistic exploration. The vibrant exchange between programs enhances each student's journey beyond individual coursework.
This project-focused degree provides advanced training for theatre professionals. Applicants identify their specialization and craft a personalized study plan aligned with their career objectives, guided by a faculty mentor from the Department of Drama (an expert in their chosen field).
