Key research areas encompass: soil structure and categorization; biogeochemical processes; soil chemical properties; physical soil characteristics and mineral composition; root zone ecology; interactions between soil and vegetation along with soil productivity. A 4-year undergraduate degree in a related area, or its academic equivalent, from a recognized institution. Grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 out of 4.0 in the last two years (approximately 60 credits) of post-secondary study.
