The PhD Orthodontics program equips students with both academic knowledge and clinical skills for thriving in private practice or academia. To graduate, candidates must meet all program requirements, which encompass coursework, finishing clinical cases, attending seminars, and successfully defending their research thesis. Students may also have chances to showcase their findings at scientific conferences or seminars.

While PhD candidates share core coursework with MSc students, they might need to take extra classes tailored to their research focus.

This program prepares graduate students with the expertise needed to take on the National Dental Specialty Examination (NDSE).
